Fiber art is a style of fine art which uses textiles such as fabric, yarn, and natural and synthetic fibers. Types of fiber art include tapestry, quilting, knitting, rug hooking, felting, braiding, macramé, and embroidery. Wynne specializes in creating mandalas, which reflect the sunlight streaming in through the Gallery’s louvered windows. Mandala is a Sanskrit word meaning circle, and can be made in many media.
